Two amendments of POP Regulation have just recently been published in the Official Journal.

The first amendment (Regulation (EU) 2024/2555) was adopted at the end of March 2024. This amendment modifies the limit value for the presence of hexabromocyclododecane (HBCDD) as an unintentional trace contaminant in substances, mixtures and articles.

The second amendment (Regulation (EU) 2024/2570) was adopted end of July. It amends the Annex I to include methoxychlor as a substance subject to certain restrictions.
